In 2007 we introduced the Guru leagues being the first fantasy football expert to put his leagues out there for the fantasy managers to see. We played in three leagues. The Ture Guru managed to win the championship in all three leagues using his unique strategies and fantasy football concepts. There was also lots of time invested, sleppless nights, and gritty determination. Along with hours of crying and praying I managed to make it through the season! In the end, I had one of the best fantasy football years I've ever had. Here is a breakdown of the 3 leagues The True Guru managed by himself in 2007. Below the league information is the screenshot of my championship. Overall Record of the 3 leagues 43-6 Vegas Vs Texas League - This was the 8th year of the VVTL , which started in 2000. This is a league of hardcore veterans with money on the line. Its also a keeper league that turns over every 4 years. You are only allowed to key 2 players. In the 7 previous seasons with the league I've been to 2 Superbowls, but didn't win any. In 2007, I won my first championship. It is a 10-team league with 2 divisions. Fox Sports League - I only played in this league in 2007 and I didn't disappoint for this one season tour. I played against some good friends and huge football fans and finished 12-2 and winning the league championship. Coast 2 Coast Yahoo! League - This was my 2nd year playing in the highly competitive C2C league. Last year I was eliminated in the playoffs and had a average season. All the teams in this 10-team league have pop. |
