Bengals shutting down top receivers

http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/news?slug=pfw-20091017_bengals_shutting_down_top_receivers&prov=pfw&type=lgns

Analysis: We agree. The Bengals are a great defense to start most weeks. If they are available in your league, pick them up if you need a defense.

Giants could opt for Bradshaw more

http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/news?slug=pfw-20091017_giants_could_opt_for_bradshaw_more&prov=pfw&type=lgns

Analysis: This is bad news for Brandon Jacobs owners. So far Bradshaw has received 36% of the carries this season to Jacobs getting 62%. We will keep an eye on these guys, and Jacobs needs a big week 6 game to keep it that percentage.

Patrick Crayton: Starting Spot in Jeopardy

http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/news?slug=rotowire-atrickraytontartingp&prov=rotowire&type=fantasy

Analysis: I'm not buying this. Every dog has his day, and Austin had his. Let's remember he dropped two touchdown's as well. Crayton will lose plays for his poor play more than Austin's good play. I think Crayton is safe for now.

Dolphins RB Cobbs out for season

http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/news;_ylt=AuasomJKCN.GFe3mS3at79xDubYF?slug=ap-dolphins-cobbshurt&prov=ap&type=lgns

Analysis: Unless you have a 16-team league or you get a smpecial teams player, this has zero impact on you. If you do, try Lex Hilliard to replace him. He's a rookie, but he could surprise us with his speed.

Colts not concerned about Manning’s left knee

http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/news;_ylt=Al9lQzqpjnNZITtHkuXN7mvxxLsF?slug=ap-colts-manning&prov=ap&type=lgns

Analysis: No worries. Manning has had the bum need from time to time, but it doesn't effect his play. They have the BYE this week, so he should be well rested and healed by his next game.

Browns rookie RB James Davis out for the year

Browns rookie RB James Davis out for the year

For those of us that were excited to see what Davis could and when he would replace Jamal Lewis will have to wait till 2010. This is great news for Jerome Harrison who will now move up to second on the depth chart. With Jamal Lewis probably out this week, Harrison is a solid start at home against the Bengals.
