Injury News August 28th
Tom Brady hurt his throwing shoulder after being crushed to the ground by Albert Haynesworth in the Patriots preseason game on Friday. Haynesworth big ol body fell on top of Brady on a hit and he did not return to the game in the second half. The Patriots said that he has a sore shoulder, Brady didn't speak to the media, and if you follow the NFL at all you shouldn't expect to hear any sort of real injury news out of New England.
Greg Jennings left his team's preseason game in the first inning after taking a shot in the head. Jennings was on the ground for a few minutes before leaving the field under his own power. All head blows are always a concern, but the fact that he walked off under his own power makes you think that he will be OK to start the regular season.
Roy Williams shoulder injury has been diagnosed as just a contusion, and more x-rays continued to come back negative. Owner Jerry Jones said that he didn't expect this to linger very long, and speculation is that he will be fine to start the season.
