Injury News August 8th
Eagles WR DeSean Jackson hyperextended his left knee in practive today, and was able to put pressure on it as he walked around the field, and again after practice. It is still early enough that this shouldn't have any effect on his regular season, but he could miss some time going forward.
Eagles middle linebacker Stewart Bradley has reportedly torn his ACL and will miss the season. He is a mid level IDP player as a guy who can rack up the tackles, but doesn't really do too much else. Truth be told, he won't be doing anything in 2009.
Willie Parker missed practice today with back spasms, but the team isn't acting like it is any kind of big deal. Parker has plenty of competition with Rashard Mendenhall and Mewelde Moore, so it isn't good for him to miss much time during training camp.
Matt Hasselbeck has been icing his elbow due to "precautionary reasons". The good news is he missed most of last season due to back problems, so this is unrelated. Hopefully this will go away over time, but keep tuned to this blog for further details.
