Creating Your Own Cheat Sheets

We all place different value on players and that is why you should create your own cheat sheet by using the cheat sheets available at NFL Fantasy Playbook, Fantasy Football Search and Fantasy Football Tonight War Room Draft Kit. These will save you from buying a magazine as they will become your very own NFL Fantasy Playbook. Look them all over and find the two or three sheets that represent the league you are in the best and disregard the others. Not to say you wont need them for another draft you might be in, but for this league the settings of which the creator of these cheat sheets had in mind when they made them obviously match your league to its best.

To create your own cheat sheet, copy and paste the sheets you choose on a spreadsheet. Look over the sheets and use their opinions and your opinion to find the right spot for each player. I create a spreadsheet page for each position by copying and pasting each position from the cheat sheets onto another. Change the fonts to one style and size while fixing the column width. Only keep the columns like Players name, Team name, Yardage, Receptions, Carries, Touchdowns and Off Week. Choose the categories that give you the insight for that player’s position.

Using last years results, plus the cheat sheets we have provided you it is now time to create your own cheat sheets. Some positions will demand you to go much deeper so you are equally prepared in the later rounds. Judge how deep you should go according to the league settings of your draft as to how many starters and bench players you are allowed in each position. For the typical leagues I like to make my cheat sheets with the following number of players: 30 quarterbacks, 50 running backs, 75 wide receivers, 32 defense/special teams, 30 tight ends and 30 place kickers.
